Very few people have not been to a site such as Yahoo.com or MSN.com these days. If you've ever wondered how they get your screen name to show up on pages after you sign in, or how a form can tell you when something important has been left out, a little research would show that Javascript, Perl, or PHP coding are behind it all. When designing pages for the web. We rely upon scripting for its ability to define an overall structure, process information, automate common functions, and make the back office work a bit easier. And then there are the games, tricky little toys, and other gadgets people play with. Personality is one thing. Functionality is required.. The goal of making your web experience fun can sometimes get out of hand. More about that in the design tips area. Admittedly we adapt many of these for our purposes rather than spend a lot of time creating our own versions. Guys I left the credits attached...
